Winter Camping

There is fun to be had even in the winter months. This is the perfect time to try an overnight with your troop. What can you do outside in the winter?

  • Sled riding

  • Build a snow man

  • Track animal prints in the snow (or mud)

  • Build a snow fort

  • Winter discovery hike – what do you see in the winter that you don’t see in the summer months?

  • Do a service project – a favorite is making blankets for Project Linus
