Never Sew Another
Badge Again!
Badge Magic™
is the revolutionary new way to attach badges to Scout uniforms
without sewing. Their new “peel & stick” badge adhesive has been
tested on all Scout uniform materials and is guaranteed not to
fall off in the wash. Badge Magic is so simple to use, it’s like
MAGIC! Now Scouts can put the on their own badges! Never be
stressed out by having to sew new badges in time for the next
Scout meeting! Badges look great too! No stitch marks, no more
crooked placement. And the badges can be easily removed when
desired! Recycle that uniform when it gets too small. Badge
Magic™
is now being sold in the Girl Scout Store at Council.
IMPORTANT NEWS!
Due to the Girl Scout Council
realignment, all troop numbers will now contain
five
numbers and begin with the number 4. For
example:
Troop 12 will now be troop 40012
Troop 939 will now be troop 40939
Troop 9325 will now be 49325
New troops or recently bridged troops
should update their uniform's troop numbers to reflect this
change. Existing troops do not need to make uniform changes
until they bridge/move up to the next level. Existing
checking accounts and checks do not
have to be changed until you need to order more checks.
Also, our service unit number has been changed from #641 to
#441. In addition, effective January 2008, Girl Scouts
Great Rivers Council will change it's name to Girl Scouts of
Western Ohio. For more info regarding the Council
realignment click here.
ANNOUNCEMENT OF NEW COUNCIL NAME
Following a polling of delegates at each of
the Annual Meetings of the four merging
councils, the Council Realignment Committee
has adopted
Girl Scouts
of Western Ohio as the name for
the new merged Council. The decision was
based on the overwhelming number of votes
being cast for that choice of name. The new
name goes into effect 1/1/08.
ANNOUNCEMENT FOR REALIGNMENT WEB SITE
We are pleased and excited to announce that
Girl Scouts of Western Ohio launched a joint
web site on July 1, 2007. The
new web site is a central source for
merger information. Each council will be
maintaining their current web site for local
services and information. The new combined
site has links to all four of the current
council web sites. Watch the council web
site for a link that will connect you to the
Girl Scouts of Western Ohio web site.
